He has been researching frequency and regulation therapy since the 1980s. His work has resulted in 113 international patents, primarily in the field of medical therapy and research. His specialty is the study of weak (non-thermal) electromagnetic fields and their effects on biological systems. Based on his medical-therapeutic invention, Dieter Broers worked as a project manager on a BMFT (Federal Ministry for Research and Technology) project within the framework of the "Applied Biology and Biotechnology" program starting in 1987. This government-funded research project enabled Dieter Broers to coordinate an interdisciplinary research project involving a total of eleven departments. The research was conducted at the Technical University of Berlin, the Free University of Berlin, Humboldt University of Berlin, the Technical University of Braunschweig, and the University of Lübeck. The research results led to a novel therapy method (using 150 MHz radio waves). Following a final clinical study, the special frequency generator for this therapy, including the patented applicators, was approved as a medical device. These devices now have full and independent approval under the currently valid regulations of the European Medical Device Regulation. From 1997, Broers was Director of Biophysics at the International Council for Scientific Development (ICSD), whose members include 100 Nobel laureates from various scientific disciplines, and served on the Committee for International Research Centers. Since 2021, Dieter Broers has been a member of the Nobel Prize Committee of Ukraine. Dieter Broers is the author of 15 books, including several bestsellers and "classics" at the intersection of natural science, philosophy, and spirituality.
