忍者屋敷の残る、江戸風巨大テーマパーク廃墟【日本元気劇場、加賀百万石時代村】

This theme park was located in Ishikawa Prefecture. Originally, it opened on April 22, 1996, as Kaga Hyakumangoku Jidaimura (Kaga Hyakumangoku Era Village). The theme park focused on the Edo and Sengoku periods, and it was reportedly built over 15 years to promote the development of the Kaga Onsenkyo (hot spring resort area). The park, covering approximately 37 hectares, recreated an Edo-period townscape and featured attractions such as a large ninja theater. In its first year, it attracted approximately 750,000 visitors, but this number declined year by year, and in 2005, visitor numbers dropped significantly due to the Aichi Expo and heavy snowfall. It closed on January 30, 2006, and entered into voluntary liquidation. Subsequently, in May 2006, Oedo Onsen Monogatari acquired the management rights, and it reopened as "Nippon Genki Gekijo" on July 18, 2009. The park featured theaters and attractions themed around ninjas, the Sengoku period, the Edo period, and the navy. The Battleship Mikasa Museum included a full-scale replica, two-thirds the size of the original. It also served as a filming location for the NHK drama "Saka no Ue no Kumo" (Clouds Above the Hill), which aired from 2009 to 2011. The park closed on January 14, 2013.
