Can you imagine, a total of 100,000 people? That’s roughly the population of a city like Davenport, Iowa. I was lucky to visit Makoko just before it got demolished. This could be the last report ever from the world’s largest floating slum before it was wiped off the face of the earth - before it was torn down, burned and had the stilts ripped out of the water.
